Ktrials Complete Installation Ver 3.0.1

• By clicking above download the ZIP file to any temporary directory, it will take about 20 mins on 28K modem - 2.2Meg)
• Unzip the file to any temporary directory
• Double click on the file “setup.exe”
• This welcome screen will appear

• Click OK.

• Confirm that this is the correct location for your installation, as some previoyus installations used the directory ktrials2000.
• Click the large ICON (with picture of a computer) to begin installation
• Installation will commence

You may have to restart Windows to update some files. When Windows has restarted, return to the temporary directory and restart "Setup.exe"

When installation successful, Push OK

Screen Setting
• Before starting Ktrials, ensure your screen is set to 1024 * 768.
• To check, right click on an empty area of the screen and select properties.
• Select the Settings Tab
• Screen Area should be 1024 by 768 or larger
• If not then move the slider bar and click
• Follow the instructions and accept if OK

Starting Ktrials
Using the start button at the button left of the screen, select
Program Files | Ktrials. If you use the left mouse button, Ktrials will start.

Your first action should be to set the scoring rules for your events. There are many preset options using the "Set Defaults" button at the bottom left of the "Scoring Rules" form.

Screen Icon
If you wish to place Ktrials as an Icon on your screen, external to Ktrials, click and hold the Ktrials selection option, with the Right mouse button and drag to an empty area of the screen release then left click on “Create Shortcut” (use "Copy Here" if no other option.)

Validation
Unless you wish to run only the trial version, the program must be validated to your computer Send the number seen at startup via email to Ktrials@pas.com.au requesting a validation code.

When the code is submitted and proof of purchase established, a validation code will be supplied within the next 2 working days. Run Ktrials again and replace the number on show with the new code and click “Validate”. This must be done for each of the three computers that are included in the license.

Trial Only version
A demonstration version with one section and 15 riders may be used without a validation code. Download and install the complete version but start without the code.
